Achievements
As Northern Ireland’s only professional symphony orchestra, the UO has achieved much since 1966. Here are a few of those achievements and significant events.
Based in Belfast, the Ulster Orchestra performs live to over 100,000 people a year at venues across Northern Ireland and beyond. As the region’s only professional symphony orchestra, and one of its cultural cornerstones, the UO has toured throughout Europe, Asia and the United States and continues to enhance Northern Ireland’s reputation.
