As Northern Ireland’s only professional symphony orchestra, the UO has achieved much since 1966. Here are a few of those achievements and significant events.

 | Anne Harper - clarinet Formed in 2005, the Ultonia Trio brings together three of Northern Ireland’s most exciting and enthusiastic young musicians. Performing in a wide range of musical styles - from popular classics to jazz and film music - alongside traditional and avant-garde repertoire, the Ultonia Trio offers music suitable for any occasion! Experienced solo performers on the more ‘traditional’ instruments of clarinet, viola and piano, the trio frequently involve other instruments in their performances, including recorders, saxophone, electric violin, keyboards and guitar!
