The Ulster Orchestra’s new Season is fast approaching, in fact it is just two weeks away, and I am thrilled to say that it will be my first as its Principal Conductor.

If you haven’t come to a concert in a while, or you’ve never attended a performance by the Ulster Orchestra before, can I encourage you to come and lose yourself in an hour’s worth of music at our Taster Concert on 21 September?

Like nothing else, music has a wonderful way of transporting you to a different place for a specific moment in time. Touching and enveloping an audience, it takes you with it on a journey. It’s an experience I don’t think you get anywhere else, which is why I would be honoured if you could accompany me as I take you on a journey through Our World of Music on the 21 September.
