The colour and heat of Spain come to the Ulster Hall in this programme of Iberian–inspired music. Falla might be the only native Spaniard amongst the composers to be performed, but the French and Russian impressions of Spain are equally vivid, as we’ll hear in Lalo’s symphony, composed for the great Spanish violinist Pablo de Sarasate, and Rimsky–Korsakov’s orchestral showpiece.
