Thursday 28 Jun 2012 to Saturday 30 Jun 2012 The MAC, Belfast 7.45pm £9.50–£22 NI Opera has created unique partnerships between five of Northern Ireland’s finest composers and five of the UK and Ireland’s leading playwrights in what has been billed as ‘Contemporary opera at its most gripping.’ The Ulster Orchestra and NI Opera’s young singers accompany each piece, which are between 10 to 20 minutes long, in ‘five snapshots of lives on the edge…’ NI Opera, in association with the MAC presents:
Directed by Rachel O’Riordan (Hurricane / Ransom Productions), NI Opera Shorts is conducted by Fergus Shiel with design by Gary McCann.
