Paul Young & Patrick McCarthy – trumpets – journey through sound and imagination. This workshop explores what we hear and how it makes us feel. How does music conjure up that tingle in the spine at the start of the Harry Potter films or even put us in the mood for half an hour of The Simpsons?

Pupils will have an opportunity to work on an imaginary film score as they investigate a range of musical styles and discover how to create pictures through sound.

Your school band, orchestra and/or choir experience an interactive workshop and are given the opportunity to rehearse and perform specially written music with members of the quintet at a recital for parents and the whole school.
