Big Bad Bass – the Orchestra’s double bass trio – now in its 24th year, is keen to bring lots of musical fun to your children.  Helen Glynn, Michelle Strong & Ricky Matson have devised two exciting shows.  Choose from Big Bad Bass on the Farm singing Old McDonald, Dangle Scarecrow and the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff OR Big Bad Bass on the Beach, singing Sea Shanties, dancing the hornpipe the story of The Clumsy Crab

Meet an endangered instrument! The viola hides in the middle of the string section and doesn’t often come out into the open. When it does, its sound will surprise you – sometimes sad and sometimes loud and frightening. Join Ruth Bebb and 3 other viola’s with lots of images and plenty of music from film and TV including ABBA and the theme music from Pirates of the Caribbean.
